3rd Feature Win of 2019, 1st Career Feature Win at 141 Speedway

Our already great 2019 season got even better this past weekend, as we picked up our 3rd feature win of the year, and our 1st ever feature win at 141 Speedway on Saturday night.

We had a solid night at Luxemburg Speedway on Friday night as well, starting 6th in the feature and working up to challenge for the lead at one point. We battled for 2nd after a restart midway through the contest, however we fell back at the end to a 4th place finish, coming up just short of finishing 3rd.

On Saturday at 141, we took the lead early on in the heat race and never looked back, picking up our 3rd heat race win at the track. In the feature, we started on the inside of row 4 and worked the bottom of the racetrack to move into the top 5. After a couple of restarts, we got up to 2nd and challenged Randy LeMieux, Jr. for the race lead. We battled side by side for several laps before eventually breaking away to take home the victory.

With our results this past weekend, we have now finished in the top-5 in 13 of our 20 starts this season, posting 3 feature wins at 3 different tracks and winning 4 heat races. Next week we will be back at 141 on Saturday night, and we’re currently undecided on our plans for Friday night as Luxemburg Speedway has the night off for the Kewaunee County Fair.
